Hopefully the first post of many, this year I am taking my blog 'by the horns' and getting back into blogging for good. I love my blog and it breaks my heart when I cant make time for writing, so i've been making schedules to make sure I have some posts for you all! This first post is just a personal style post as i'm spending most of my time writing future posts. I was pretty proud of my outfit this day and have been using the MyStyling app to help make the most of my wardrobe and to help style my outfits day to day (review will come soon!). Hope you enjoy!

Personal Style #6
Last week I popped down to London with my friend from university, Alice. I hadn't been to London in a while so I wanted to make the most of it...cue unwarranted spending spree; However that Haul is coming at a later date. For now I wanted to show you the outfit I wore:
For the majority of the year I've been stocking up on Monochrome Basics for my wardrobe however I decided to go back to my comfort zone of bright colours. This outfit features really contrasting colours which I thought was perfect for the last week's of summer!

I've also popped a close-up picture above of my hairstyle, if you would like to see a tutorial on how I achieved this hairstyle let me down below in the comments!

Personal Style #2
You know those day's where you just feel the wardrobe fairy has been rummaging through your clothes? and you manage to find the perfect outfit or look? Today was one of those days for me.
Makeup:-
LOLA Illuminating Base || NARS Sheer Glow in Gobi || RIMMEL Wake Me Up Concealer || COLLECTION Lasting Perfection Concealer || RIMMEL Stay Matte Powder || SLEEK Lace Blush by 3 in Crochet || COLLECTION Liquid Eyeliner || LOLA Automatic Pencil in Black || MAYBELLINE Baby Lips in Hydrate || LOLA Matte Long Lasting Lipstick in Cheeky Cherry
Product of the day: LOLA Long Lasting Lipstick in Cheeky Cherry
Even though it transfer's easily it really is long lasting! I applied it at 7am and didn't have to touch it up all day. It is a very Neon Orange/Red, so perfect for a bold lip look.
Outfit:-
I was sporting a cream Topshop scalloped top, a grey H&M jumper, a Pandora bracelet, Forever 21 Jeans and Brown Ankle Boots. All of these items are unfortunately not sold anymore but below I styled a similar outfit with a few extra items I would add if I had the money!
Asos Shirt with Scallop Collar || Grey Long Sleeved Ribbed Jumper || Daisy Street Denim Tube Pant || Balloon Zipper oversized leather tote bag in yellow from Boticca || Purified Womens Petra 2 Leather Heeled Ankle Boots - Black || Caterina Mariani leaf necklace || Zoe and Morgan "Jett" necklace || Asos Quilted Duffel Bag

Personal Style #1
I have seen many people post OOTD's and FOTD's on their blog's, but personally Ive always been a bit too scared to attempt one! However I'm making a new start for 2014 and today's post is my first OOTD (as you may have guessed from the title).
Today was another lazy day home alone for me, but didn't mean I couldn't dress up! (I have that awful tendency to look decent when I have nowhere to go).
I am sporting a colourful jumpsuit from "SOUTH" borrowed from my mother's old wardrobe paired with a "24/7" denim jacket and denim wedges from Primark. I also added a small heart pendant to add a little more bling to the outfit (this outfit is probably more appropriate for summer)
Oh and I had to add a scary mask to the outfit too!
Are you fed up with all these winter blues?
I know I am! I thought I'd change my jeans to something a bit more fun for once and I have to say, I was pleased with the results! Id like to invest a bit more into jewellery and vintage pieces as I don't own many of either, so if you have any recommendations write them in a comment below or come visit me on Twitter or Facebook.
I hope you liked my outfit! Let me know if these types of posts are ones you’d like to see more of.
